I like this boy and my friend asked him if he thought I was pretty. He turned red and smiled. Then my friend told him that I like him and he turned even redder. My friend is positive that he likes me.

I know he is very shy because he was very quite when I first met him. He comes to my youth group's gym night once a week.I called yesterday him to tell him that the location was changed and that this week we were going to do something in church instead.He said hello in his normal voice but then when I told him who was calling,his voice changed.like I caught him off guard. He kind of stumbled over his words and mumbled something when I told him that the meeting was switched. Then he said he couldn't come. I'm thinking that he didn't want to go to church.If he really liked me he would go.I'm scared that he won't come anymore cause he knows I like him and he is really shy. What can I do?Do you think that maybe he really did have something to do last night?Do you think that he likes me?

Sure sounds as though he likes you :) There's something about talking to people you like that does make you stumble over your words. He probably wants to see you and doesn't want to see you, both at the same time. What can I say? Adolescence is something you grow out of, but dating anxiety I don't think so...
Act as though you don't notice his stumbling and hopefully he'll be ok :)
