I hope so coz if anyone causes sh!t when I got my baby in the car I will park right in the middle of the road and drag the idiot out of their car, drag him/her to the sign, then show them the baby whilst yelling "Are you stupid or stupid huh!!!? Do you think this is Japanese for *carrying stuffed pillows!?*"

Yes, it does, if it didn't it would not be used world wide and it would have gone out of fashion long ago. I think everybody does take a more care when they see the sticker, even a baby chair makes me take more care.

It is not only meant for us to be care full but to be prepared as well. To know the person in the particular car can be distracted at any moment if the baby does something out of the ordinary, vomit, throw something or a funny sound etc.

Over here it is one of the laws to display "Baby on Board" sign if a baby is in the vehicle. You are not allowed to carry the baby or child at anytime in the vehicle and every baby/child has to be securely strapped into a car seat. Just recently, a no-smoking in vehicles with children, was enforced.
Personally, I stay welll behind a vehicle displaying the "Baby on Board" sign. Believe me, it works!

Having a "baby on board sign" does help me out.. I have an 8 month old and have had one since she was born.
It helps in the fact that I live in a busy city and so we have accidents all the time.
People behind me can see my baby on board sign, and I have even seen people who screech to a halt behind me who are driving too fast.
It works to the fact that people are more aware of whats in your car and they are more careful to not hit you.
Also I have a 92 Ford Thunderbird, also known as a sportscar and I used to have people try to race me, thinking I was a racey type, but I havent had anyone try to dare me now with a baby in the car.
Its a great thing to have in your car, it makes drivers more alert on their driving and lets them know that theres little ones in your car.

I tend to notice how old the sticker is! Most of the time I actually do try to stay so far possible as I can, but I still drive like always ....... let's just say every now and then I test Einstein's theory on traveling back in time.

Actually I must be honest - NO! I dont drive bad to hurt anybody irrespect of a child on-board or not. In any case accidents happen and their children should be buckled up anyway often you find them ranting and raving in the car uncontrolled. . .

Well actually I have seen that sign and the fact that I read it tells me it does make a difference, because it starts to make you think of who is in the car and most likely you would be more careful.

Well, yes, if I see a car ahead of me with that sign, I will be extra careful not to ram into it. So, it does hel. Atleast it doesn't do any harm unless that sign is false.

I try not to kill anyone on the highway, ever.

If I'm trying to read your sign, I'm not paying proper attention to the road and traffic, so I'd say no, it doesn't help.
