On www.Elftown.com , the "Town Guards" (moderators) are actual users you can talk to, hang around and chat with.

This is what the Town Guard (moderator) page looks like on Elftown. Very little mystique or head scratching here. This sort of setup is rather nice. You know who is responsible for moderator actions, and you'd better believe they are accountable!

Would it not improve this website if there was something like this place, instead of all this high-handed, incompetent bungling that's everywhere to see when trolls are not IP-banned, and those people who are suspended or banned get that for all the wrong reasons? There's far too much vigilantism on this website, and it's hurting this place's viability.

Pauly, I absolutely agree. Please check out my 360 blog for a letter I sent to Yahoo along with the response I received in the form of a "canned" answer that didn't help, or answer my question. (Thanks again for your lack of assistance Jane F.). Something needs to be done to this cesspool, or it will be driven into the ground like an old jalopy.

Enjoy your day!

i'm hoping no longer, darling, yet i'm afraid so. The checklist stalkers make issues very complicated at right here, yet i do no longer blame them as much as I blame the Yamster for permitting them. My question approximately what would motivate somebody to checklist a 2 365 days previous answer replaced into deleted for "misuse of the question and answer format," and inspite of the incontrovertible fact that i've got appealed it two times, affirming that it did no longer violate the CGs or the TOS interior the slightest - i did no longer even respond to the persons who spoke back with thank you or hugs for answering, as I usually do, just to sidestep the charge of chatting - the Yamster upheld the deletion. checklist monkeys and stalkers have means at right here by way of fact Yammie provides them means. If the appeals technique truly labored and actually addressed deletions, then monkeys and stalkers does no longer have the means to run rampant at right here. If reporting value factors, if there replaced right into a cut back on the kind of information a individual could make on a daily basis the way there are answer and celeb limits, if the Yamster known that distinctive comments from a single IP handle concentrated on a single individual usually shows a stalker who could be stopped, if factors have been taken remote from the reporter whilst a contravention replaced into overturned, and, particularly, if somebody actual examine and thought-approximately appeals till now merely denying them, stalking and checklist monkeys would disappear. i'd hate to have this place disappear - i admire my contacts, and that i can continuously discover questions and solutions that instruct me some thing new, that undertaking me, and that make me snort hysterically. (((Meds)))

Actually I would rather have a YA defense system installed. Powerful friends like Neo, LIS Robot,Starbug(Red Dwarf), Expunging enemies and saving our cyberworld before bedtime...,..., or we could have what you suggest, I suppose. I get carried away, sometimes.-LOL,Rogue
