hi so far i have had 3 positive hpt test in the last 2 days i had a blood test this morning and i get the results tomorow im just so scared it will be negative...... i cant figure why the hpts would show so soon as if i was preg i would only be 3 weeks today lmp was on the 12-7-07 any advice would be great.by the way the 3 poses 1 was at docs office and they were all very faint but still visible even the one at docs at first he thought it was neg as soon as he did it but when he looked again it was a faint pos.

oh, you are are as pregnant as pregnant comes! I had been trying to get pregnant for two years, and when i finally took a test and it was positive, i thought that maybe i had done it wrong or something (how can you mess up peeing on a stick?) After another positive, i went to the doctor and she said that congrats, i was pregnant. The hormone that causes a pregnancy test ONLY appears in your body when you are pregnant, so if you got any faint line at all, you are expecting. Congratulations!

For the most part you can get false negatives with home pregnancy tests, but not false positives. The tests detect the pregnancy hormone in your urine. If there's none of this hormone at all in your system you would not have gotten even a faint line. It happened to me and I'm 37 weeks pregnant! If you are pregnant you tested too early. Your body hasn't produced enough of the pregnancy hormone I told you about. I hope things work out the way you want them too sweetie!

congratulations you're definately pregnant!! My doctor said to me, positive's as positive as positive. It's very rare to get a false positive expecially 3 times!!! You're just very very early on. Baby is probably just a 1mm dot in a 3mm sac!!
Now the fun starts!! Break open the bubbly and celebrate honey!
