I`m sure you mean Woodpigeon? Pigeons of the variety you see in Trafalgar square are "rats with wings" Wood pigeon on the other hand are delicious - use the legs to make stock - marinate the breasts for 45mins then quickly pan fry in butter - serve with a suitable red wine/port based sauce DO NOT over cook that`s when they become tough & dry - keep them pink!!

Thats a shame - Im one of those people who likes to eat wonderful things like pigeons, rats and mongooses but i havent yet tried them. There are plenty of pigeons in the cities so why dont you buy a big net, catch a few, ring thier necks, pluch them and then put em in a stew. Mmmmmmmm pigeon stew.

Maybe this idea can help to feed the homeless. Pigeon stands around the globe offering pigeon sandwiches to the homeless at a very low cost.

Yes. I once had Wood Pigeon at a posh restaurant but it was like a dried up old boot! Save your money!

Pigeon has a very rich taste, but it is delicious. I have eaten it in pies, sandwiches and roasted.
