For those who are into the F/SF scene to some degree, I definitely recommend www.elftown.com. It is run by real moderators who do have real accountability, and the rules are rather plain and clearly stated. It's a non-profit, free site with very few if any ads.
If you're more interested in cybersex and trolling, don't go there!
