My strength is handling stressful situations and my weakness is saying no to a child!

My strength is, and always has been, words. Although I never graduated high school, my college-educated co-workers were not aware of it, because I could speak on their level. (I did take the GED and finished in the 99th percentile for grammar.) I am also an excellent typist.

My weakness is physical. I've reached a point where my joints ache and my muscles don't have the wherewithal they once had. I thank God everyday that IF I have arthritis, it isn't the ultra-painful crippling and disfiguring type -- yet.

My husband complains that I've become forgetful (he keeps the social calendar and makes appointments and such and gets upset if I don't know what's on the calendar because I haven't looked).

I know my hearing isn't what it once was. I had to buy an amplifier to carry with me to the theater. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. It's only certain ranges that hide from my ears. I plan to see a hearing specialist, I promise!

Strengths - Kind, patient, understanding, creative, independent, honest, tactful (most of the time). Jill of all Trades. Knowing when not to be the above. Have a very long fuse - see below!

Weaknesses - Tendency towards procrastination. Sometimes my strengths can become perilously close being weaknesses or a burden. re long fuse, explode occasionally scaring everyone within earshot.

Strengths - the ability to love everyone the way that Jesus loved me -He gave himself for me by dying on the cross and taking away all my sin. I am compassionate and have a great sense of humor. I am no stranger anywhere I go - I have the ability to make people feel at home. I am a great cook and can make a meal out of just about anything. I love children. I am walking in the calling and profession that God has for me - Teaching - and Musician. I love to visit the senior citizens in the nursing homes and sing the old hymns and social songs they remember, writing letters, poetry, holding their hand, giving them love and affection, allowing them to talk to me and teach me.

Weakness - Procrastinate a little too much. I probably spend too much time on Yahoo when I should be working my lesson plans for the school year, or completing the Praise Song Books for my choir...

Reilliency, I've learned to bounce back from some really horrible things that have happened to me .

My self-esteem is good and healthy now , it wasn't always. I think it comes with age and accomplishing things you hoped to accomplish.

I have a dry sarcastic wit , not always appreciated by people , but the people who love me to bits.

I try to treat people with dignity and kindness, don't always succeed but I do try.

Weakness, I've got no time for bullies, fools ,arrogance, ignorance, intolerance, mean petty people who are mean and petty for pettiness sake.

I have an irish temper. Quick but it does blow over eventually.

I can hold a grudge a long time , learning not to do that so much anymore.

I also can swear enough to make sailors blush. Not ladylike I know , but there aren't alot of true gentlemen out there anymore either.
