we are going to on a holiday to my home town in greece, which is at the sea. it is going to take us 12 hours, and me and my brother can't sit together for 30 minutes without having a fight or start screaming at each other. what could we do on the road to keep us entertained and stop fighting? we don't want to get really bored on the way too. our car is a volkswagen passat, so it isn't pretty big (2003 version of it).

what are things we could do together and/or as a family on the way to greece? i don't want to have a fight with him on the way, my mum tends to get verry stressed before and during the trip, so i don't want to get her mad and she'll feel very bad on the way.

take a portable DVD player. or you could take lots of games and your eye pod ? play i spy or going through the alphabet of cars that match number plates i.e a Astra. b = BMW etc or you could people watch and mark down such thing as other arguing in car picking noses etc .. you see some really strange things .... good luck and no matter how much you fight on the way there you will have a great time away and be the best of buddies during your holiday until the return journey .. another thing you could try is to argue in silence or in sign language ..

Get a backgammon board (Tavli in Greek). This is a hugely popular game in Greece where several versions are played. 'Portas', or 'gateways' is the version played throughout the world and the rules are not difficult. The better player nearly always wins even though it is a dice game.

You could play games, such as the one where you think of someone and the other person has to find who it is with yes/no questions. Or get a travel edition of a board game, like scrabble or sth. Or cards. I would also recommend reading, but you may get car-sick if you read in the car. Sleeping however is a good idea, you will arrive less tired at your destination.

Several options.

Bring a bundle of comic books
Bring a good book (Harry Potter Series)
Bring your iPod or MP3 player (loaded, of course)

Or, discuss why you and your brother fight...
Find out if there is some underlying reason that you might be able to fix...

What makes something called something. somebody got here up with a popularity for people and now we jointly call ourselves people (so a great way as English is in touch). How are we diverse from different issues? we seem diverse, we've diverse genes, we've diverse applications, and a few could say we won the breath of existence from God. What makes us human in the jap way of thinking? A human that conforms to the societal norms. Even the bible says you're a beast in case you supply your self as much as sin.

hey. you're worried about it. the fact that you're worried means that really, you don't want the fights to happen. talk to your brother and tell him you don't want the fights to happen, and that if he starts a fight, you are going to tell him he has enormous ears. (i'm hoping that he doesn't)
if you can laugh together about that you won't fight.
and if you take a portable dvd player - make sure you can plug it into the car otherwise there'll be a row because the battery is dead.

I would try an audio book.

Making a cease fire with your brother for the sake of your mother would be another solution, I guess. At least until one of you break it.

Take a walkman and listen to music. So you won't have to speak with your brother.
