Born in 1947. First movie : Almaciga Troso, 1971. Made a movie called Kung Tawagin Siya'y Bathala, in 1980.
His career was at its peak in the 80's and his claim to fame is jumping from the Philippines' longest bridge, San Juanico, without a double for his movie "Hari ng Stunt" )King of Stunts).

there are two dante varonas here in the Philippines..one is the actor and the other one was the guy featured on tv a long time ago because of his unusual height. he only stands about 2 feet.

All I know is that he is a Filipino action star. I don't know if he is still one though. I don't often watch Filipino movies, they're either slapsticks or too dramatic for my own good.
