I hate my voice, it's squeaky and annoying. I wish it was deeper, and huskier don't think I'm able to change it though, have you got any tips.

You can do a tremendous amount of work on your voice, to develop a richer voice, even training it for singing. Start with 'Freeing the natural voice' by Karen Linklater - or look for a reputable vocal coach in your area. Try a drama school - they should have a voice teacher if they are any good. It will take work but you can give yourself greater range, better sound, more power, more breath - a powerful and effective voice!

I had to learn NOT to be too expressive with my voice. I've had to learn to make it sound friendly, but not silly. My voice used to give away what I was thinking. Not a good thing in the corporate world.

You can change your voice a bit, but it takes a bit of work. Ive heard myself on a taped call at work and its awful, i seem to have a lisp that is certainly not there when i hear my own voice when talking
