I've played both and think you should stick with the guitar. You already have the basics and you don't need to play classically to make a great sound. The sax is fun, but the big drawback is that you can't chat to your friends or sing while playing it, which is a bit of a hassle. It takes you out of a social circle and so when you play it, people have to either shut up and listen, or ignore you and carry on with their own conversation. Also the sax is VERY loud and you can't practise or play quietly which can be a big drag (not to mention embarrassing when you start out!). The guitar may not be 'different' but there's a reason it's so popular, so don't let your need to stand out from the crowd stop you enjoying the crowd! If this aspect is very important to you, then play something like the banjo, which gets people up and dancing. Personally, I think a guitar is a cool instrument that even a relatively new player can enjoy while developing their skills - a sax is going to sound bad for a long time!
