Pls tell me which configuration is the best in between this two?
1. Intel Celeron 2.4 GHz with Asus P4V533 motherboard; OR
2. AMD 2800+ Sampron with Jetway motherboard.

Wow, that is a hard choice.
The first one is a bad processor with a decent motherboard.
The second one is a decent processor with a bad motherboard.
But if you need to focus on performance it's better to choose the second one, especially if you don't know things like tweaking, overclocking and stuff.

The first one has a good motherboard with a lousy processor. It will work out OK for internet, office apps, MP3 but not games. The second one has a better processor in a lousy motherboard.

hmmm. although both are bad... go for the sempron. celeron was developed in africa as a cheap computer. even if its 2.4ghz, it wont work good with any and i mean any 3d demand. sempron is a lot more reliable and faster. and if you're looking to play classic games like say halo1 or quake 3 or somethin this shouldnt be a problm. one thing tho, dont try running windows vista on it. go for XP proffesional. well i hope i helped

Those are both pretty bad configurations >_>... but anyways the second configuration is better.
