I've seen that response several times now. I find it amusing. There is nothing similar about the two, so is it a Lib strategy to try and sway conservative independents to vote for her?

I've seen that 'answer' several times too. If you listen to Dick Morris-the Clintons are masters at spin. They leak their own "scandals" to the media (the ones that are easiest for them to defend) and make THAT an issue, while making themselves look like victims (vast right conspiracy)--the more undefendable scandals magically go away as the press focuses on what they're defending. And given all the Hillary campaign workers on this board--yeah--I believe it!

President Clinton believed that the way to win elections was to moderate your stances and probably has some influence on Hillary. In her case, though, it morphs to the way to win elections is to pretend you are a moderate. Perhaps she is just finally being successful at something and has fooled the liberals? That's my theory (although the successful at something part is hard to believe).

She's a Dem, everything she says or does is a bunch of crap, so I will not be surprised if a Republican wins the Presidential Election again:

politics are very dangerous, and like you said, its just statagy, its no more than a bunch of political BS. trust me, liberals dislike conservatives, but that doesn't mean that they dislike their votes.I just hope hildog gets kept out of the white house, and so guliani gets in.

I have seen it too but not from liberals - rather from loony right wingers such as Ron Paul fans.

I've been seeing alot of liberals attacking Hillary and Gore lately. I don't think they compare them to Bush though.
