Wow...I have a few of those you mentioned, and out of all of them, I wouldnt try to act like I wanted to pick a favorite...even on bad day, Jerry's performances were all as equally moving.
5-7-77 set 1 & 2 at Boston Garden moves me to this day the same as when I first heard it.
From the opener (a pounding hard in your face ) Bertha, to midway with Half-Step right on to one of the first played Terrapin
Station/Lady with a fan since Mars Hotel was released.
I will ALWAYS love the Dead for moving me, inspiring me, and allowing me to let it loose when life would not.
Aug 9th upcoming is the 12th year into Jerry's passing, and honestly it's still to this day just as hard to accept as the day it happened.
