This guy for the past few months asks the same question about an Iranian girl at his gym. Someone explain this to me, because I just don't get it. It doesn't seem like trolling somehow, but it's odd.

I suspect it is because he is not getting the answer he wants. He wants someone to confirm to him what he wants to hear. As no one is telling him what he wants to hear, he keeps asking it over and over. He probably has been reported as a troll for asking the question and to keep from being reported again, he uses other handles.

Probably and obsessive compulsive who really needs someone to report him to mental heath people for treatment.

Because I am Australian, I just want to understand your turn of phrase - 'under different handles'??? A 'handle' means a name, does it not? Does it also mean 'from a different angle'? Does he phrase the question differently each time? Is he pointedly asking you the question about her? Does he think you would know because you are Iranian? Or do you have some special knowledge about them? Does 'trolling' mean 'trawling for a girlfriend'? I have had boyfriends ask the same question/s over and over, and I believe it is either persistence (cos Dale Carnegie and various self-help books say that persistence always wins and don't give up), OR it is the early stages of Alzheimers. It is usually something they want that I don't want to do. They try re-asking when I am distracted (making dinner from 3 different cookbooks) so they think I might, without realising it, give them the answer they want. They also wait till I am laughing and then ask the question, because they think if I am happy and amiable then I will try to please by giving them what I have always refused. They try asking the question when I am on holiday with them, saying that they thought I would loosen up on holiday and do things I might not do at home. They try asking the question straight after sex, because they think I am so pleased with them that I will grant any wish. All this does is make cooking, laughing, holidays and sex into battlegrounds. I have just let go of a 12 year relationship because he asks and asks questions that I have said NO to a thousand times and I just can't stand it any more. It is such a relief to go a day without hearing that question. If people would say "I KNOW I HAVE ASKED YOU THIS BEFORE, BUT I WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND...." but no, they ask it as tho it has never been asked before, never been discussed or argued about. I think they must be mad or are excited by arguing or they hate you and want you to suffer. But I don't think my problems are the same as yours with this guy, I am just venting. You could tell him to stop. I have met a guy online dating and he texts me and emails me to ask SO WHICH DAY IS SUITABLE FOR ME TO COME OVER TO YOUR HOUSE? and I reply that I don't invite men I have never met personally, to my house. I don't even know what he looks like. He asked 12 times and then I stopped answering his emails and phone calls and texts, but he hasn't stopped asking this question. He is 28 years old and he must be crazy because he is too young for dementia.

i think of conflicts would be lessened and there would be much less violence interior the international. The language and communication barrier has been the downfall of many large international locations and the destruction of many cultures. A known auxiliary language would be mandatory interior the close to destiny no remember if it somewhat is artificially built including Klingon or Esperanto, or a organic language like English, chinese language, or Spanish. IMHO, it would be effing cool if absolutely everyone spoke Klingon.

Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds? He's probably a stalker and obsessed with the girl. Or he's just doing it to make people think he's a stalker.

If they were to do the same thing three or four more times, just to have everyone wondering, you know it's a troll.
