I went to the doctors the other day cos my ankle was sore.
He told me to take my top off and then he used his stethoscope on my back and chest.
He then insisted i have an internal temperature reading!!!!
Ok!!. .. . i was thinking!
After all this he said you have a sprained ankle?
Were his tests necessary?

He's just a very thourough doctor is all. Aren't you glad he didn't want to do a complete rectal exam/prostate exam? He knew you had the sprained ankle, he probably just wanted to check you out all the way just in case he could find something else wrong with you he could fix and charge you for.

WOW that's the funnest thing Ive ever heard, was he really a doctor? I think he maybe pissed off with the NHS and just waisting time. lol

They usually do vitals on you no matter what you are in for, so that's normal. They have to do it
