I went to see I now pronounce you chuck and larry a week ago with a few of my friends. When you buy the ticket for the movie, and you go in to the hall way where the guy rips the part of your movie pass. My friend told us to fold back the part the guy rips off, and walk by him and just show the ticket to him with your finger folding the ripped part back, to make it seem like it has been already ripped.

I told my friend that was a genius idea, he does it every time, so you see the movie without the ticket being ripped off. After the movie go to the front movie desk and say our friend did not show up so we did not see the movie. The helper will give you a refund, or you can keep that movie pass of chuck and lary and bring it in next time you see a movie.

I saw a good movie, and got my 11 bucks back! Anyone have any ideas similar to this that works?

I see... so I spend my hard earn cash to subsidise thieves like you.

What goes round comes around, my friend.
You might think it is so cool and smart - but it is illegal and IF the cinema wants to - they CAN prosecute. NOT good to have a criminal record.
You WILL be caught - sooner or later.

One day - when someone else cheated you, DO NOT go around cryng foul play - because you are just the same as they are

Thief.

I either wait until they come on TV, or borrow the video or DVD from the library.

Very few movies are worth $11 first run. I find that very few movies are worth seeing first run. (Although my husband and I went to see "The Simpsons" last Friday, we did see the early show and paid only $4 a person.) When we lived in Columbus, OH (where we're returning in a couple of weeks) we would go to the second run theater where ticket prices used to be $2 for the evening and $1 during the day. One day during the week it was only $1 all day. The theater is only about ten miles from where we live and one of our favorite restaurants is by there, so we make a date of it.

What are you going to do if you get caught or at least can no longer get away with it? I have a friend who worked summers and school breaks at a movie theater and actually took the tickets from people's hands or asked to see the whole ticket because she was wise to ignoramuses.

I am not encouraging you to do this BUT I once saw someone do it. I didn't know this person. This are on a date and sat just right behind me. They didn't have any tickets because I didn't saw them before (there were only, like, 10 people seeing that movie) and they are using the buying popcorn excuse (I entered just right after them, I was going to the bathroom-- of course I bought a ticket!). I counted and it's more people than before. Unbelievable, they didn't pay anything! (except for popcorns....)

well in my movie theatre when you do that you can only claim your money back during the movie therefore my friends and I have one person buy a ticket and then he goes and gets it rip since at my theatre there are exit doors by the cinemas and away from the ticket person then we go and wait outside of one of the exit doors and the person who paid for a ticket comes over and opens the door.

I say no; they ought to pay merely like absolutely everyone else does. additionally, did you comprehend that some stars (& people, i'd presume) usually pay 1000's of greenbacks to work out a action picture weeks till now it somewhat is by way of be released in interior of sight theaters? Wow! : )

Can't you just break into cars in the parking lot like the rest of the douche-bag thieves?
