i Just bought a Inki1 branded switch yesterday, and there wasnt any username or password included with it to access the control panel interface of the switch, i have read the manual twice and all the manual tells me is how the cables (straigh through and crossover) are wired and what network cables it takes, it has nothing about the control panel, or the DEFAULT username and password, i need to access the control panel to set the switch to a specific ip address and MAC address

Dont confuse switches and routers they are not the same device. Switches are just connectors and unless it is a managed switch it will not have any username/password.

Yours sounds like a standard switch to just connect several computers so it wont have any need for a username/password.

I suspect if you want to set specific IP and MAC addresses you need a router!
