Mclaren is a big joke, they cheat n dont admit it.

McLaren has not cheated here. They have proven they did not use the documents received by Coughlan (from Stepney) to the FIA. They did indeed use the tip from Stepney in March that the car had an illegal moveable aerodynamic device (the floor). There is no joking about that. It might seem odd that Stepney would tip another team rather than the FIA, but he was doing it so he would not be revealed as the source of the information. That worked (until he was fool enough to give the documents to Coughlan).

So what it comes to, in the case of McLaren accusing Ferrari, is simple. Ferrari tried to enter a car that was not within the spirit or letter of the rules. Had it not been found out, the car had cleared tech and would have maybe been the stronger car all season.

Ultimately, how one sees this comes down to a more nuanced view. Simply being a Ferrari fan and thus seeing anything McLaren says as bad cannot make it understandable. Simply being a McLaren fan cannot make it seem completely understandable either. :)

Counter allegations is part of the game. Soon Ferrari would defend and make their own allegations. But the letter is quite interesting.

The joke is that Ron Dennis has praised Stepney for his whistle blowing on the Ferarri Australia 2007 car. It is in his words, it is supposed to be good for the sport and needs to be encouraged. What is beyond my comprehension is that why on earth did Stepney go to McLaren? Shouldnt FIA be the ones to be informed, why McLaren?

What a season, the races were boring, but the other activities are genuine cloak and dagger! I love 2007!!!

Ferrari is the one that cheated, by instaling illegal parts on their car. McLaren has been confirmed to be "in the clear" on the count of pssession of confidential information. The FIA has basically thanked the parties involved in the transferring of information stating that without the whislte blowing activities they wouldn't have know about the illegal floor device. It sucks, but Ferrari is f*ing up

Ferrari really shouldn't throw stones.

It's was noticeable how their cars stopped doing so well at the time their secrets became know. This is mostly likely because they had to make them compliant in a hurry.

Let's admit, Honda have the worst record on the track having been banned for the hidden fuel tank a few years ago.

Actually this is quite serious. There is a bigger chance the FIA will take action against ferrari for this than with the whole mclaren spy thing.

WHAT ?! Why will the FIA take more action against Ferrari than Mclaren when Mclaren is guilty ? I bet they are on Mclaren's sides !!! I think that letter was a mistake ! Why are Mclaren acusing Ferrari of an illegal car ? what does that mean? just because ferrari acused them they want there own back and make ferrari stupid. Now i bet the 'FIA' WILL take action. for what ? a letter, with no evidence! Why didn't ron bring this up before ? why all of a sudden now ? is it because his team are being accused in the spy row ? he just wants to get out of this and get ferrari sued. well keep dreaming ron !!!!

No.

Unless you are a highly trained engineer who is aware of all the technical details involved in this ongoing case, or a senior member of the FIA, I believe you know as much about this case as the rest of us do. That is, what we read in the papers. International papers I mean. Unbiased ones. Not the highly controlled politically motivated Italian press.

Ron sent Todt a letter asking for better relationship between the teams and a more trusting one before this cheating case was reveal. At that time, McLaren already had those documents. This goes to show how cheap ron can get.

It's no surprise that they can turn things around and attack ferrari.
