No, God is supposed to be supreme, eternal all powerful, and created all. If he created all he must also know all as well of all time being eternal. So he created evil knowing this, and the a imperfect world demanding a sinfree one which makes no sense. God being all powerful not able to over power, god being all knowing and not knowing. God being careless but considered caring does not make sense. Rational people know a sinfree world demands a perfect world. He is so supreme that he cannot manage or know how to defeat his creations even though he should know what makes them tick. And lets innocent beleivers and good people suffer or die. Breaks his own commandments and mass murders people. If anything this God sounds actually more weak to me. Because he is a man of many flaws, in a sense very human flaws. We create problems we don't know the asnwer for. We all very powerful but cannot over power our problems. and if you ask me he has many major flaws. Just as much or even more than any regular person. And worst ot is that he created all being eternal. he should be able to over come any obstacle, knowing how to perform all and creating the oppertunities for it. He should know how everything works, breaks and fixes. If humans can create oppertunity, why not god? we are smaller then him, or are we? Is God even a he? what if its a she, or some animal or an object?

"Fuc# circumstances, I create oppertunity"

Why is reasoning about god's existince so wrong if it actually turns up more rational that he doesn't most likely exists?

faith is not the same thing as just beleiving something with out reason it simply means to beleive. I have faith in things but i have faith in it because i reason on why i should have faith

"Blind" faith comes mostly comes from fear and insecurity...but not all faith is blind.
The moment that human beings begin defining deity, they necessarily limit that deity to human dimensions and understanding. "God in a box." So often you hear people say, "Well I can't believe in a god who would do ___ this or that", formulating a god that fits the needs of individuals. That automatically limits deity to the parameters of human scale, and that in turn makes the deity less than divine, an invention of human need.
What is more difficult is to acknowledge that to be divine is to be unknowable.

All that you have said clearly proves that if there is a God, He (or whatever) is rather as imperfect as we human beings, if not more..... this is possible only one way..... that is if we the imperfect people created an imaginary God perhaps to feel secure. But those who have faith do not see it this way. In their view, there has to be a Supreme Almighty authority (God) without whose will this entire universe and life within it could not have been created and this faith is further reinforced by the fact that we seem to be unable to understand or even imagine how else the creation or the origin could have happened. Logic can be very dangerous at times..... for instance, when you say that God, if loving to us, should not passively watch us being put to miseries, the Believer would be fed the logic that God does so purposefully... it is like how we punish our children for their own good. In the same way, every point that can be raised against existence of God, can be easily negated by the Believer, especially because the logic of faith says that we human beings are not capable of knowing or understanding the ways and purposes of God.

Only God can help them!!

I think that the whole "God notion" is because we don't have an exact and proven theory on how we all got here and how we all got to be. While believing in a "god" and that he/she/it/whatever created us or helped it along is reasonable, the blind faith- i think- is result of people worshipping the unknown. Because we don't know, and because we have no idea of knowing, we pretty much play it up. Look at the American Founding Fathers. they are worshipped for their "creation" of the US government and thought about as these light carriers in a time of bad government and bad ideas, but they wrote the Constitution with the rich in mind and slaves working on their fields.

We have a tendency to romanticize things. We like to believe that somewhere out there, we aren't alone and there's someone out there helping us and all-knowing. But for the reasons you pointed out, there doesn't seem to be much evidence for a "earth-and-human loving" god.

Blind faith is a result of worshipping and romanticizing the unknown with no limits and no hard evidence- a scary thing isn't it.

Hi there - this is a real complicated issue but you're right to question blind faith - faith should always be based on reason, people should all make an inquiry about what they have been taught or brought up to believe and make an adult informed decision about their faith or beliefs - I did this and still believe in god. As you asked in your question God could make us all believe, force us to conform or destroy us - but i would not want to believe in a god who would do that - remember god gave all humanity free will giving you the right to question things and to choose to be good or evil - as to the consequences of these decisions only time will tell.

the so-called 'god-gene' has been discovered in the primitive limbic system of human brains. Here resides our basic instincts, including our irrational belief systems. Neuroscientists can now artificially trigger a 'religious experience' by probing that area of the brain.

Why has this developed, you might ask? It is their assumption that primitive man developed or evolved this gene as a mechanism for survival in a hostile universe. Since obsolete genes do not die overnight, we'll be seeing a distorted worldview from the majority of earth's population for some time to come.

perception is a mix of cultural reinforcement and genetic predisposition. A genetic inclination in direction of gullibility (accepting the god myth) replaced into, and nevertheless is, favoured by skill of the corporation, by way of fact sheep are hassle-free to administration and control. A genetic inclination in direction of skepticism ( no longer accepting the existence of mythical gods or the authority of the church hierarchy) replaced into no longer tolerated and those to blame of loose thinking have been culled out of the inhabitants by skill of 'christians' for extra effective than one thousand years throughout the dark an prolonged time. This had the influence of 'genetically engineering' the inhabitants to think of and behave like sheep. So, in end, you have self belief in god and the supernatural, no longer on the grounds which you have 'freedom of decision' in any respect. it somewhat is on the grounds which you have inherited the gullibility gene and there is not any longer something you're able to do to alter that.

Can I prove that God exists? I could say yes and give you examples, but you can give examples that you say proves He does not exist. I know one thing that does exist, spell check. Opportunity, not oppertunity. Use the brain God gave you and use it.

theoretically, if God is absolute, then you would not be able to logically rationalise it, becasue God would not be bound by the laws of logic, or anything else for that matter :)
as for what makes people have blind faith, blainwashing at a young age, lol.

Lack of Proof and ability to believe anything they hear without verifing it that is "blind faith"
If I gave you the details they run on, your mind would fall of your head it would pin so much! lol

The thing about faith is, if you have it you don't need to explain it and if you don't have it, no explanation is going to be good enough. :)
