i am just saying that i hate it when people try to make me take something like candy to the cinema, when i prefer popcorn because it is more traditional.
Reasons:
1, when i was younger i eat popcorn every time i watched a film at the cimena.
2, it gives me the full "Cinema Experience". i go to the cinema for surround sound, big screen, and popcorn.
3, who thought of the stupid candy or other snacks idea, was it invented a few years after 2000 like most un-traditional modern pop culture changes?

sorry if this doesnt make sense or sounds stupid, i just want your opinion and not criticism.

i remember before 2006, i would go to the cinema i they would only sell popcorn and
drinks, mainly cola. now i go and they have snacks, candy, ice cream, and sometimes warm food, this is too much!

...indeed, the movie-going experience wouldn't be the same, without a hot-buttered bag of popcorn, and an ice-cold soda; unfortunately, the varied theater chains across the nation, are more than well aware of this tradition, and are always quick to exploit it, by charging ridiculously high prices for the oh-so delicious pleasure.

Candidly, I must say that I DO tend to be somewhat hypocritical about complaining about the high price of theater popcorn; despite continuing to fork over super-mega-dineros for the light, hot and fluffy delicacy. Why?????

.....because I absolutely LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!

I agree, it's not the same without the popcorn. I've went to the movies without one time and it just didn't feel right.

I think that they've been selling candy at the cinemas as well, since about the 1950's, no?

I also think that popcorn is traditional but I don't eat as that much as I use to.
