Depends on the decision that was made. Or the quality of the purpose chosen. Being "determined" to follow through with a plan that has been proven from past experience to be unproductive, it seems to me, is being stubborn and foolish.
There's a person who lost his watch at night. He stands under the street light looking for his watch. Looking. Looking. Looking. By standard walks by and helps the person look for his watch. After an hour, by standard asks the person, "Are you sure that you lost your watch here?" The person says, " Oh!! No, I lost my watch down the street. But the light is better here."
Is that Determination or Stubbornness?
I would call that being a fool.

Irish, how are you today? I wish you the best. Determination could be stubborn. Mine isn't, maybe a little pushy at times. Your Friend Jimmy.

Do you think that "Money" is evil??
Everything depends on How we use it!
Determination can be motive for progress as much as stubbornness - it all depends on how the person decides to function.

No, I think that "Determination" is actually a persons "Drive". But "Stubborn" is ME -- right along with "Hell Bent", "Bull Headed", and "Unrelenting".
Have a great day Irish!!
