I own the "delexue" sims 1 with all the expansion packs included. However, my computer has recently been kicking me out of the game when I play. I concluded that it's because the files is huge! (3274 MB) on my 21.7 GB laptop i guess is too much for it to handle?
Anyway, I wanted to see if there was any way i could delete some files or delete certain "expansion" packs so my computer doesn't really "freak" out soon.
I don't have the option to not install all of the expansion packs when i originally install the game.

Thanks!

Okay...Well...It's not going to be your hard drive. Everything here is very vague...

With over 20GBs of memory, 3 of them being used isn't going to be a problem.

I've been looking around. It seems a lot of people with laptops are having trouble with "The Complete Collection". Mainly people with Toshiba laptops. I could do a lot more research and try and find what I can, however it could take me days to find out what I need to know from these details.

I'm sorry I can't help you more. If you want to contact me I could help you, with more information.

Go to my website, you'll find means of contacting me there.

Again, I'm sorry I couldn't help more. I just need more info on your computer. That, and exactly how and when the crash happens. Every tiny detail is important.

Laptops aren't designed for gaming. The space that you have is more than ample for the sims 1 to run, HOWEVER, I think you'll find that you are only just or just not making the video requirements for the game.

I have similar problems on my fiance's laptop.
