Air does flow after rain.

there are two factors that cause "air flow" or wind.
The reason u experience wind just before and during rain is actually caused by the rain falling. That is also why u don't experience much wind if it is just a sprinkle.
When rain falls it actually pushes the air out from under it causing a wind radially out from the center. That is why it is a good short term predictor. When the wind starts blowing u know the rain is close behind and the wind force indicate how heavy the rain is. When the storm is directly overhead, there is little wind. When it stops raining the wind is determined by the second cause. Seldom, after a rain, is there enough pressure to create a significant wind.

the second cause of wind has nothing to do with rain, but sometimes rain accompanies it.
A hurricane is an extreme example. It is a low pressure system. As it circulates it creates a pressure differential from outside edge to the eye. The bigger the system, the lower the eye pressure, the greater the differential, the higher the wind speed.

A high pressure system is just the opposite, creating a high pressure in its "eye". If u have a high and a low next to each other it creates a very large pressure differential between the center of the low and the center of the high.

Air moves from high pressure to low pressure. The higher the differential the higher the wind.

Not sure .But this could be because the High and Low Pressure Differential that causes Rain is no longer there after the Rain .

because Air flow occurs only when there is a difference between pressures. Air will flow from a region of high pressure to one of low pressure-- the bigger the difference, the faster the flow.

Air does not flow at all.Air in motion is called wind .So wind only flows.Rain does not stop the wind.So it will flow before and after rain.If it stops after rain ,it may be a lull period. It may be noted that wind does not flow steadily always and consists of gust and lull periods.
