Sunglasses are great, especially if they have a designer label! But they're also very personal. If you know this girl well then maybe take her shopping for a pair, if not then drop a hint or ask her friends what kind of shape/colour she wants. That should help!

It depends.
Gucci sunnies are quite expensive so you want to be sure you purchase a pair that are going to suit her face shape. I know from personal experience that it takes a few days of hunting & a lot of frustration to find a pair that suits me!
Unless you want it to be a surprise, I would take her shopping and get her to try a few pairs on and buy a pair that she likes and suits her.
Otherwise, if you do not want her to know, make sure you find out about the store's refund/exchange policy. You don't want to buy her something pricey like Gucci sunnies only for her to not like them or for them to not suit her!
That said, I would LOVE for someone to buy me a pair (like most girls) :) So you'll definitely be in her good books either way!
