i would leave it for a bit before i yelled. think i would be too scared to yell...you dont know whats out there!!=)seriously ive been lost before, it aint funny! i did start to panic when some quad bikes rescued us (me and mum) dogs had fun running after us. we had walked MILES.

I got lost in the woods once, in the middle of the night, with too thick of tree cover to be able to see the sky... I figured I had to be close to where I was supposed to be so I did yell for a little while...
However after I saw some strange lights on the ground glowing under mushrooms (probably was just lightning bugs but still very creepy) I stopped yelling and started thinking about every sci-fi/horror movie and suddenly it all seemed plausible and the last thing I wanted was for anything to know where I was lol.
I found the path again after being lost for about 2 hours - don't know how I found my way back to it, but so glad I did, couldn't imagine having to spend the whole night out there!

1) how do you know if you are lost
2) I dont get lost in the woods all I would have to do it turn around and follow my trail of empty beer cans back...
3)duh, besides how do you even know you are 1000 yards in the woods

Why would I be in the woods? There's no grog shop nearby if I run out of RUM!.
