SPIDERS yuk yuk are you a killer?

Question

ok i found the daddy of spiders in the kitchen last night.
swear down was like 8 foot tall(well a good 2 inch really)

but even though i was scared i could not kill it.
like always a chucked it out side with a bit a loo roll.

so what do you do, would you squish it?
flush it down the loo?
or give it freedom?

or even just watch it and do nothing????

I never ever ever kill a spider, I put a pint glass over it and slide a bit of paper underneath and go put him on a plant out side.

Have you not heard that old saying

'If you want to live and thrive,
Let the spider run alive.'

This is supposed to stem from the fact that without spiders we would be overrun with bugs, that would eat everything, but the spiders eat all the bugs!
So they are really little hero's saving the planet for us! lol

I really do suffer from arachnophobia, its a horrible feeling for me when I see a spider, I can NOT go near one.
I live in Greece and we have plenty of spiders in these warm climates, to my horror we have a lot of wolf spiders( I think that's how they are called) these horrible things can jump. They breed like crazy.
I once saw a spider black, hairy, with a huge red/orange elevated blob on its back, Ive looked all over the Internet to find out what species this is and can not find it anywhere, any spider experts out there, would love to know what it was.

so the answer to your question, if I were brave enough I may just squash it, luckily for the spider i just go to pieces and feel nauseous

Yes I am a killer but if I can catch it in a glass it would go down the loo or out the door

I put bugs and creepy crawlies outside.
I once found a big one and decided to catch it using a large paper bag. It was so big I had to wrestle it for quite a while, and it was 50:50 which one of us would end up in the bag. I won, just. If it comes to a rematch I'm not so sure I could triumph a second time.

Depends on what kind of mood i am and how often they came, usually for the most part i throw them safely outside, i would expect the same treatment if i wondered in a house looking for food.- those are the big ones that don't build webs.

the ones in the corner, i just leave them there. there not hurting anyone. "only those skinny house spiders that dont bite" the otheres i throw out."

the only time i ever get really pissed off is if they build there web in my path and i run into it.
that freaks me out.

i used to be a killer and it was because I was scared of them. Now as I have children and don't want to pass on the fear I pick them up and put them outside. Tho' I have been know with the really enormous ones to hoover them up, and as I have a dyson I can see them and if they are OK I will put them down in the compost bin, no fruit flies in there anymore!!!!

Handy things spiders. They keep down all the nasty pests. I think of them as cats in miniature.

I just watch them and think "ah, you're nice". My sister is scared of em, so I guess I have even more reason to love em.

I would put it outside, insects are our biggest competitor for food on this Earth, They out number us 8 to 1, spider helps even out the odds for us...Just think of all those nasty mosquito's that can't suck your blood, cause the spider put the "KY-BOSH" on them !

I have no problem with spiders, but if I'm at work I have to squish them to stop the other wussy women from yelling!
