All of them can transfer that kind of data.
USB flash drives are NAND-type flash memory data storage devices integrated with a USB (universal serial bus) interface. They are typically small, lightweight, removable and rewritable.
Memory Stick (sometimes abbreviated as MS) is a removable flash memory card format, launched by Sony in October 1998, and is also used in general to describe the whole family of Memory Sticks. Memory Sticks include a wide range of actual formats, including three different form factors.
A portable or external hard drive is quite a useful piece of equipment. It allows the user to back up or store important information off the main drive, which could become compromised by online or offline activities. Sensitive documents, large music files, DVD images, movies, disk images, and even a backup of your main internal hard drive, can all be kept securely and safely on an external hard drive. When you are online, you can even leave the external drive turned off.

Memory stick is more compact and smaller than the External Hard drive. you can use both to transfer those files to them but if you want to keep those file with you at all times I suggest the flash drive. they are easier to carry they can even be put on your keys. as for the External hard drive its basically a a normal hard drive enclosed so it can run out side the computer they are not that big usually about the size of a little textbook. the flash drive will have less space usually up to 4gb sum higher while the external hard drive will range up to 1 terabyte = 1000 gigabytes (these are much bigger than a small textbook) but many Hard drives range around the 60 gb and higher.
P.S. External hard drives need a power outlet 99% of the time to run it unless it uses the usb port like the Flash drive but that only found on the much smaller External Hard drives

Flash drive is a "solid state" drive that has no moving parts. It's Flash memory only. Usually goes into USB port.
MemoryStick (tm) is a trademark of Sony for their unique format of flash media, as compared to CompactFlash, Secure Digital, and so on. When used generically, "memory stick" *should* be the same as flash drive, except it usually looks like a "stick". However, many uninformed in-duh-viduals started referring all forms of memory modules, including memory modules that you install INSIDE the computer, as "memory sticks". THAT IS WRONG.
External hard drives are your basic hard drives that goes inside your computer, except it has a different set of plumbing and goes OUTSIDE, which makes it more portable, but remember, hard drives still have moving parts.

Memory stick and flashdrive are
the same thing. They can be plugged in
through any USB port. Those are small
and you can carry them around saving files
and music on them. An external hard drive
is extra memory that you can add to your
computer. Usually 20GB+
You can save music and files on both.
If you want to carry the music around like
for a school project and use it there,
you should get a flash drive.

all of then can save any files.
the differences are:
memory stick needs a memory card reader to read it. it is smaller than flash drive and many types, example: sd card, xd card, cf card etc.
flash drive can be plugged into a usb port without needing of a reader. it is usually 128mb to 8gb. (64mb got, but very rare)
external hard drive can use usb, sata or firewire interface. you need the relevant port to use each. it is usually 20gb up to 500 gb. it is often used as backup.
