I am sending an average letter to the UK (london). I live in Washington DC (USA). How many stamps (or what value of stamps) do I put on the letter?

I am sending an average letter to the UK (london). I live in Washington DC (USA). How many stamps (or what value of stamps) do I put on the letter?
I want an actual number, as in 47 cents. rather than a website i mean.

According to the post office website, a regular, letter-sized envelope mailed as "first class international" at the current postage rate of 41 cents from the USA to England is 90 cents per ounce. Best to have it weighed first so it doesn't come back to you marked insufficient postage.
