Take your pick. I don't think the question is answerable with just one choice, there are many choices that would answer your question because all of the above are essential, if you are lacking one of the above you will at least be very ill if not dead.

And you all who are answering "Carbon" please re-read his question. He asked for "trace" elements. Carbon is not trace in our bodies, it is one of our primary building blocks.

I assume you mean trace element.

An essential trace element in humans is phosphorus, it is involved in the nutrition of body cells, and is required for various chemical reactions in the body such as the filtering of wastes from the blood.
