Why is everyone so mad? I just wanted to know why its postponed.
And no, I hadn't had the time to watch the news. After my game, i watched the Royals game, then went to bed.

By the rock, if you're going to have your face plastered to a screen 24/7/365, try surfing to a reputable (there's a few left) news site once in a while.
A highway bridge collapsed between Minneapolis and St. Paul, right into the Mississippi River; genuine disaster. As this is one of the primary arteries to the Metrodome area, and the cleanup and recovery will take days at the minimum, the Twins decided not to aggravate city resources by drawing a crowd of tens of thousands to the immediate area and postponed the game.

Early this afternoon, a bridge over the Mississippi River collapsed, and numerous things happened. 7 People are dead, over 60 are injured, and over 50 cards have fallen into the river.
This was a 40 year old steel bridge, and it just completely fell apart.
The Twins will be at a special ceramony tomorrow because of this horrible accident.
This following week has been so harsh to Minnesota.

Because a major freeway in Minnesota crumbled. It ran right across the Mississippi. They felt it would be in bad taste to play tomorrow.
