There is a problem with your theory, however desirable it maybe (I used to believe in these things... until I altered my thinking)
the energy in our brains depends on the conversion of chemical energy into electrical and back. It may be possible for a mass dispersion of electrical energy however that would imply that one can utilize 100% of the brain at the same time and that these charges of energy stay connected to one another. Quite a feat only possible in sci fi as of now.
Then again according to quantum evolution it may happen, though it would require the use of an advanced quantum machine...
Our best hope is to give mother nature a chance and be patient for a few million years.

The idea of a soul is fiction. The brain functions by electrochemical processes which are the same as those in the peripheral nerves. These require considerable energy -- typically a quarter of the resting energy of a body, even though the brain represents perhaps 2% of the mass. At death, the energy is cut off, and all processes come to a stop.

Well, not so sure about the biochemical charge of our brain being our soul, but... there is some interesting research about the "energy" of a human being passing on after death on a quantum level. This wouldn't be a traditional afterlife, and from what I understand of the theory, there would be no transfer of awareness or memory, but it is an interesting concept in line with the Law of Conservation of Energy.

You are totally deep.
I personally think that while we are alive our energy is transmuted into the common energy of mankind. Our eternal soul is based on how we effected people while we're alive. You or I didn't create this language we are speaking for example.
Eternity? Different planes of existance? Who knows, who cares. You can make a heaven or hell out of your life here. I don't know anyone who has come back to tell us what happens next.
A riddle for the ages. Maybe was meant to be like that...

I wonder if you wont to know how it did? or how it does? Well, either way it is still happening! I believe, Charles Darwin advocated this theory. He believed that it was survival of the fittest- a weak animal cannot survive in harsh environments but a strong one can (oddly enough Hitler's views have been described as "social darwinism"), at the begininning of life (in the eyes of evolution) only small one celled fungi then came one cellular sea animals who evolved in to more complex animals and so on and so on! Untill there were Monkeys who one day "came down from the trees" and had to use their mind to figure out how to catch prey etc meaning their brain capabilities increased a slowly a distinguishable but different (from us today) human being evolved. We are still evolving, animals are becoming extinct more complex plants are growing, our capabilities are perhaps growing steadily larger? who knows!

. Like a lot of religious people, you're trying to romantisize or mystify our existance.
We have no more 'soul' or astral planes than a wet cell battery. THAT makes sense.
It took nature 4 BILLION years to 'create' us. That's the only miracle. And of course if this planet [1 out of a billion] wasn't suitable for our life force, we wouldn't be here. .

Hi. Actually they are electrochemical charges. One theory is that the 'waves' of this energy create an electrochemical hologram-like pattern. I don't think they have anything to do with 'pure energy' or any other such.

i dont think it is part of the brain neither a product of electrical charges whatsoever.
soul - the energy and essence to do things
mind - the conscious state

they r not our soul they r something which is driven by our soul
