I'm confused. Gay? Is your computer mouse attracted to another mouse of the same gender?

There is a whole range of possible reasons for this:
- if it is a wireless mouse the battery that shipped with the mouse might be already empty
- if it is a laser mouse with a very high range of precision the mousemat you are using has an incredible impact. Newst Logitech laser mice for instance, won't work properly unless you use a good mousemat
- bring it back to the job and let them replace it. You never you know, you might actually have gotten a mouse that simply doesn't work properly

Hi. There are three types of mouse. One uses a mechanical ball to position the cursor and the other two use an LED or a laser. If yours has a ball, remove it by twisting off the bottom retainer and clean the two rollers you see inside. Optical mice do not have this problem.

If it's wireless, replace the batteries. If it's a laser operated mouse, clean the lense/hole that the laser comes out of. Make sure you're using an opaque surface that atleast FEELS like a mousepad. Also, it could just be your computer freezing up. If it gets bad, bring it to a specialist.

Well I've had a mouse where I couldn't move the pointer on the screen. Then I moved it to another surface and it started to work and it's still working great. Also maybe you need to change the batteries.

You need to clean it. Get a damp non dusty cloth and wipe the bottom of the mouse i just did it a while ago

try to clean the lens of the mouse if it'a a optical one or remove the ball and clean if it's an ergonomical one..

or try installing new drivers for the mouse...

Not sure, but it might require software to be installed. Make sure it's connected properly. If it's wireless, then that might cause problems too.
