I have a renter/lkeaser that wants to move in 8 days before lease agreement?

In California....What is my liability ?

Lease starts August 15 , they want to move in on the 8th. Will change all utilities.

Rewrite the lease to change the start date. Then everybody involved will be covered.

If you are asking about the end of the agreement ...then the leasee still has to pay the remaining days on the lease until you or them find another leasee.
But if it's just 8 days and they had already paid to the end of the lease...then you better act quickly to get someone else.
