We allow Grand children to take items like chips, fries, pieces of fruits, etc. but don't let them eat off our utensils, or from glass.

How, exactly do you stop your kids/grandkids from eating off your plate? If they want it, they get it! Not a problem with me, but I know some folks that would freak out over it. Folks without kids of their own!

I let mine do all of the above, but there's nothing wrong with not sharing the glasses and stuff either (I know people who just can't do that, and it's cool too). Now, of course I don't let them if I'm feeling bad or anything either!

My husband and I share food, but he will take with his fork.

Yes, my wife.

My kids can too if they ask or if we're sharing food. My youngest wants me to share food off his plate. I have no problem with that.

I do have a problem with drinking after my youngest because he hasn't conquered the backwash problem yet.

Only if my kids ask nicely. My kids can eat from my utensils and drink from my glass, if they have permission.
