I've just recently began to pay more attention to this, but I realized how much pubic hair I've got and I'm wondering if it's as normal for girls to shave down there as it is for them to... say, shave their legs? If I don't shave it, will it become a problem and get me made fun of? Help?

many girls if they have a lot of pubic hair in their groin region will trim it or shave it, if they're self-conscious of the way it may look. Its normal, its typical, and its not unusual.

Your pubic region belongs to you, and you can do whatever is aesthetically appealing to you.

People, mean people, will find reasons to make fun of other people. It doesn't matter what clothes you wear, what part of town you live in, what shoes you buy, what haircut you have, etc...

If you're talking about dating guys and a guy's preference to a woman's pubic area... each guy feels differently about how he 'enjoys' seeing a woman's pubic area, whether shaved, trimmed, untrimmed, etc.

Whatever you decide on, decide on it for you, not for someone else.

Good Luck.

:)

It all depends on what your preference is. If you want your hair gone, then shave it. If you don't, then leave it alone. I would suggest if you are going to wear a bikini or bathing suit that if your hair is visible around the bikini, you have so that it doesnt show (this is called the bikini line). If your bikini line is hairy, and you are on the beach, you will be made fun of it. But, Your actualy bikini are, underneath the suit, is something people will not see unless you are naked, so this is up to you. If a guy sees you naked and makes fun of your hair if it is not shaved, and you don't want it shaved, tell him to back off and he doesnt deserve to see it anyways! To remove your bikini hair, you can shave (use lots of shaving gel, be careful, and trim with little scissors to get the best shave) or use a hair removal lotion(don't get it directly on the genitals, follow the instructions, and if you get red or irritated stop the use!), or get a bikini wax (get your own home kit and follow directions or go to a salon/spa and get it done by a professional). Good luck! ;)

Shaving your v-zone is completely your personal decision. For me and most of the girls I know, it is in the normal shaving routine of legs and underarms. Be careful though...shaving your v-zone can cause irritation and ingrown hairs. If you want to shave that area, or if you feel uncomfotable because it is unsightly when you wear a bathing suit, then I say go for it. If not, don't feel pressure to do so...it won't cause problems. I don't think you'll get made fun of...that would be like getting made fun of for having long hair or something lol.

If you have that much then you should trim first and then either shave or wax. A brazillian hurts but lasts longer whereas shaving is pain free (unless you cut yourself that is so be careful!) but it grows back quicker which can be a nuisance.
They have special wax/razors for this kind of thing so make sure to choose the right one if you want to do things right.

Personally, I shave done there all the time, and alot of girls today do too. It's really nice when you're wearing a bathing suit and you don't have to worry about hair 'popping' out around your thighs. Most guys seem to find that more attractive too if that helps any!

A lot of girls shave, pubic hair was really meant to protect cave women, but you can definitely shave it. It's really up to you. Just be careful.

Shaving there is a personal preference.

I shave every now and then. NO problems if I'm shaved or if I'm hairy at all.

put on a pair of underwear or a bathing suit bottom. if everything is nice and neat, then you are fine. if not, you can either buy a pair that covers up more, or get a wax (or maybe even a hair removal cream). i wouldnt suggest shaving because it can get extremely sloppy, and if you show up to the beach with razor burn where it shouldnt be, you are going to wish you just left it alone.
either way its not likely it will become a huge problem, and you will not be made fun of for it.

I shave regularly myself but am lucky enough to have my boyfriend do it for me and get every square inch if you find it to much to do they do sell womens hair trimmers that you can just trim it and then shave the areas that might peek out of say a swimsuit or wherever your most concerned with. its very normal and dont be embarrassed.

Most women shave their pubic hair, especially if they're bikini models. It will grow back itchy, but its better than having your pee get caught in your hair when you use the bathroom. I shave regularly, i think its hygiene, and my husband loves it.
