I am a Unitarian Universalist and I have a waste can in the bedroom. I empty it when I feel like it. Actually I feel empty right now, so I guess it's time.

no waste can in the bedroom bathroom is right there and that gets empty once a week I live alone don't produce much trash

I have two, one by my bed, one by my computer.
I normally empty them once a week, but since I don't throw food waste into them, I can safely let them go two or three weeks without emptying them.

No but my kids have waste baskets in their rooms and they empty them once a week.

Yes, empty it twice weekly. 6 water bottles a day adds up.

I do have one and I empty it when it is full... almost once a week or maybe two... but I never trow organic garbage there or food... just papers and that kinda stuff...
