your correct answer is 5 to the 7th power. here is why:
5*5*5*5*5*5*5=78,125
look at 7 to the 5th power is:
7*7*7*7*7=16,807

What you have related above is merged "y and x" numbers as "x and y" which is said property!
57 --> 75 has been referred by you as 5^7 and 7^5.
5^1 =5 and 7^1= 7
5^2 =25 and 7^2= 49
5^3 =125 and 7^3= 343
5^4 =625 and 7^4= 2401
5^5 =3125 and 7^5= 16807
5^6 =15625
5^7 =78125. Obviously 5^7 is greater!
To clear your doubts completely start exercise linking "28 and 82" as 2^8 and 8^2. You can do it mentally !

First, Mr hot-leo, use the carat (^) to denote powers. So which is greater 5^7 or 7^5?
The easiest approach is to divide one by the other and expand to (5*5*5*5*5*25)/(7*7*7*7*7) or
(5/7)^5 * 25. If this is greater than 1, the 5^7 term is greater.

Now 7^5 / 5^5 = (7/5)^5 = 1.4^5
so you need to find out if 1.4^5 > 25 or not
The answer is NO, because 1.4^2 < 2.5
so 1.4^4 < 2.5^2 <9
or 1.4^5 < 9 x 1.4 < 15 <25
so 1.4^5 < 25
