Yes Siri they do.
Perhaps someone in a Coma has a purpose that is related to those people that they are related to; or are close to them...(IE) Those person's may see the missed opportunities that the person in a coma is having and it may cause them to change their life; to reflect on their own life situation and become more motivated, or more appreciative.
We all have a purpose.
Finding a purpose is part of our journey here on earth and in our life. I believe that overall it is the pursuit, or the striving to learn to love without conditions.
That is the challenge set before each and everyone of us.

as long as that person realizes he is here for a purpose, although you know what it doesnt usually need to be that you have a purpose, the point and the fact is you are already living and existing you might as well deal with life, even with a coma. if those people who are in coma, still are remembered by his or her family and that they still believe in hope, the person still has a purpose.

Yes, Every human being, and every other living thing has a purpose. And it is not for any of us to judge another person's path or another person's purpose, because their is no way that we can know what another soul's agenda is! In most cases, it is even hard for us to be completely clear on what our own soul's agenda is! A coma is most likely just something that a particular soul chose to experience! *sm*

I believe that every human has a purpose no matter in whichever state of conciousness he is in... If we dint have a purpose, life wud be so plain n normal n boring... we wud be born, then have our education, then work, get married, give birth, look after kids n then get old n finally die... but there is something after death n a notion or the concept of rebirth...
One of the purpose is to be a better human being and to improve every life we spend on earth...

Even if a person is in coma, his life doesnt come to a full stop, does it? : )

I believe every human have a purpose in life, but for some its to live their lives to the fullness. Every human was put in this world was a good purpose, I think every human should at least have something they believe they can do or accomplish before they die.

I wouldn't call it a purpose. It's more significance. someone in a coma can effect those around him.
