My husband & I have been ttc for 6 months. I have a regular 27 day cycle.

I have noticed a pattern...around CD 20 I get a low-grade fever of around 100 degrees that lasts for 1 - 2 days. It's high enough to make me miserable.

I am wondering if that is the time around fertilization or implantation. I know that temp is way too high for ovulation & it makes it one week before expected period, so it too late to ovulate.

OR Is my body fighting the conception since fevers are usually your bodies way of fighting infection/etc blah...

Is there such a thing as Implantation Fever? or Fertilization Fever???

Why has this been happening every month????

I have already been to my Gyno & we are testing my hormones for 3 months in a row. But in the mean time............I'd like some other opinions.

What are the symptoms (if any) if I were allergic to my husbands sperm?

There are actualy women who are allergic to sperm, and so maybe you are one of them. It would explain the fever. It's very rare but this can happen.

Have you seen a fertility specialist or talked to the OBGYN about the infertility problems. There are number of things that can be going on. And since woman can even get pregnant on their period it is possible you are ovulating closer to your period time which makes it a little harder on your body. See about getting some hormone tests done that will determine if you are producing the right levels of hormones. A fertility specialist would also want your hubby checked to make sure all is good with him. You may also be allergic to his sperm and your body killing it off. I had that problem with my 1st husband. His count was great but the one time i did get mature eggs i still didn't get pregnant and the dr said i was allergic to his sperm and killed it off. I would recommend talking to the Gynocologist about it and see if you should see a specialist.
