No cause often the source the media gets the stuff from isnt accurate and credible. and sometimes the media makes up stories and says stuff which is not in favor of the celeb so they can sell their papers but sometimes like Paris H and lindsay and stuff when the cops are in the pic its often true

Greetings! For me, it depends on the media source, but generally I do believe that the media is mostly accurate with their news stories.

Because of the liability issues regarding slander, the newspapers generally stay within the "smoke" rules, meaning, "Where there's smoke, there's fire."

Having said that, here is a list of news sources that I find accuracy to be very close to the truth:

NY Times
Wall Street Journal
Washington Post
Christian Science Monitor

Here's some that I take with the grain of Salt:

National Inquirer
The Globe
Weeky News
Us!

That should give you an idea.
Take care.

Depends on the media source. I wouldn't trust anything yellow journalism newspapers (ie Sun or Enquirer ) had to say. Besides I'm notta big celeb buff any way. I don't pay much attention to what Hollywood has to say.

No way- I'm not believing anything by people who gave the search for Anna Nicole Smith's baby daddy more coverage than the VT shootings

No....if I want to know about someone or verify something I've seen/heard I check 3-4 sources.

When I do that it's usually correct.
