I would say Fortunate Son, because of the volatile politics.
A lot of Nam vets felt certain Credence songs were speaking on their behalf..and that's one of them. So is "Run through the Jungle". I'm partial to the political stuff..coz' I don't want to pop yer balloon or anything, but a LOT of Credence songs sound similar to each other...That bein' said, I think I'd rather hear "Grapevine" over anything else. I can't explain it, or figure out how they kept it interesting for 11 minutes, but they did, and it rocks hard..I like to piss people off by playing it on the CD jukebox,...coz their song is delayed a whole eleven minutes.
Follow that up with "Hey Jude" and "MacArthur Park" and check out the dirty looks. I don't care..love all three of those long songs.
Also mighty fine..."Ramble Tamble" and the whole Cosmo's Album...I wonder if I'll get best answer for my "Ramblin' Tamblin" dissertation....peace out!
