So I just got back from a trip to Texas, and I want to show people all the pictures I took there (about 700). What is the best way that I could show these. Preferably, I would like them to be displayed on my TV, but I don't have any cables to connect my computer to the TV. I've tried burning CD's and putting them into my DVD player, but it won't show the video's that I have. Thanks a lot!! oh yes, and ive tried picasa and for some reason, it always fails on the 2nd disk

Well, start by doing some serious editing. Nobody wants to look at 700 pictures by anybody. Reduce the number and duplicates. Arrange them in folders by topic or in order by events so that people have a chance to look at them yet not get burned out. Consider doing some combining with photo editing programs so that 2-3-4 images appear on the screen at the same time - all flowers, all cattle, all girls. Skip putting up repeated images of groups of people that viewers will not know, which may be wonderful for you, but "This is Judy and her family, this is Bill and his family, this is Audi and his wife." are deadly boring.
Choices: buy a DVD burner.
Buy one of those picture frames that store slide shows, preferablly with buttons to back up and zoom.
Discover why picasa isn't working or use some other site.
