i think you should respect your own race, but if you don't agree with what they do, and you think they are giving your race a bad name, then there could be a good reason why you don't have to like them, but they should also respect your opinion about them.

There is something wrong with it because hate is wrong. I know some people who hate their race because they are embarassed, but I think that makes no sense. Each race has good and bad things, just like all people do. Also, you should be proud of who you are as a person. You are NOT your race. You are a person.

I don't think there's anything wrong with disliking members of your race, disliking how they treat each other and wishing to distance yourself from stereotypes associated with that race. If you hate your own race, that's a bit more of a problem because you hate yourself by default.

Hating? That would be harsh.
But I think it's fine to not agree with the customs.
I actually do this too.
I'm part Indian, and I just find that part of my family HILARIOUS. I know it's mean, but I can't help giggling at my grandpa's silly superstitions and my gramma's 'everyday sulvaar'

I choose not to because i have pride and belive in my hispanic ethnicity and all the rascist jokes about mexicans make me angry but i will always have pride and no i dont think hating your race is okay unless you hate yourself because hating your race is just hating an extension of yourself

Racism is wrong, so yes, it is wrong to to be racist against any race, including your own.
Why? . . . for precisely the same reasons it's wrong to be racist against one that is not your own.
