This evening, I dedicate Michael Nesmith's "Cruisin'" to my oldest YA! amigos, SoulGirl76 and Sueflower.

No particular reason, but I'm curious to see if they'll catch one of the references made in the lyrics to a former acquaintance of theirs.........

Ha! Thank you Alec! And yes, I got it and I miss him sometimes... (I'm kinda glad he didn't look like that though). Still, your insightful and hilarious Daleky ways have more than filled that gap.

Tonight I'm dedicating a Michael Nesmith song back to you my friend; it's one of my favourites. It makes me think of escaping with friends, the clip raises a smile and it has a relaxing effect on me every time I hear it. I'm sure you've guessed it already:

And for Sueflower, a little disco tune. Happy Birthday girl - have a dance for me!

lol... thanks!
Yeah... I used to have Nesmith's "Elephant Parts" on VHS... and now I've got it on DVD. I always wondered if that song was the inspiration for your former incarnation. My favorite piece from that compilation is the neighborhood nuclear superiority sketch... absolutely priceless:

I dedicate Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life" to you and Soulgirl76.

I heard it in the car earlier today, and it helped me finally start breaking out of this damn depressing funk I've been in.

I would like to dedicate "Amazed" by Lonestar to the greatest guy in my life - Tim. He continues to amaze me every day and I can't imagine ever being in another relationship.

Rabbit by Ray Wylie Hubbard. to the one who thinks i have used my evil powers to banish them from the "crew". i hear by state i am part of no crew, never was, never wanted to be, and these petty games are enough to make me glad that i lost it long ago, and don't give a damn anyway. thank you for giving me the lessons in social intercourse. it has been an invaluable experience.
