I was attacked unexpectedly at knife point, I took a blow to the hand and the chest. The 5 seconds it took me to "dance" around with my assailant, saved me from cutting stuck in the jugular.

A car accident. It was raining, and the car in the other lane all of a sudden was right in the way. Lets say physical therapy is just as hard as they say on TV. So many things can happen in a matter of five seconds, but use those seconds to change the rest of your life.

The major changes in my life happened in just a few seconds. We live our lives, and the days, months, years pass by, but a few seconds is all it takes to change everything....death, birth, trauma, miracle.

Yes. The first time I was kissed by the guy I'm currently dating, I knew in those minutes (okay...so the kiss lasted longer than 5 seconds) that my life had just changed.

We were rear-ended by an eighteen wheeler on the freeway. Now I can't get on the highway and drive next to an eighteen wheeler without freaking out a little.
