My bank account had been closed for about a month and i wrote a 30 dollar check. That was about 2 mos ago and it has since been sent to a collection agency.....

*1.Since the check was sent to a collection agency does that mean i wont have to go to court or worse to jail over it?

Then a bout 2 weeks ago a wrote another bad check for $40.00 and so far i ahve heared nonthing from anyone on it....

*2. do u think i could be looking at jail time over thesse 2 checks?

*3.If so how long will it be before they will have a warrant out for me? since its been 2 mos for the first is it possible that they already have a warrant out for me?

I live in kentucky

You could claim "oops" for the first cheque, saying you grabbed the wrong book, and pay it out. The second one affirms intent to defraud. You likely won't have a warrant for your arrest, because the amounts aren't large, but your credit is now toast, and cheque approval agencies will all have you red flagged. Geez you are a dumb@ss!

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNTUm

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

YES, you most likely may have a warrent out. Pay the checks and quit writing them. An ex-b/f of mine did this and he ended up getting arrested on Thanksgiving night (The night he met my parents no less!) when getting pulled over for speeding.
