The spoiler on a car will not make it more aerodynamic. It DOES, however, if installed correctly, improve the downforce and handling of some vehicles. And no, you don't have to be going 300 mph to get any effect. In wind tunnel testing, with 30 mph winds, there is a significant change in downforce when a wing/spoiler is installed. For those who don't think it has any effect, try this test: take a piece of cardboard about 3 feet long and 8" wide. Try holding it in a 30 mph wind. You will feel a pull. Now try it again in a 60 mph wind and you will feel a much stronger pull. It is very similar to airplanes. Some planes can take off at speeds lower than most speed limits. Now tell me that a spoiler doesn't have any effect. And just a little side note: they aren't always properly installed, so it could hinder performance and may not work at all, but most people simply use them for looks and nothing more.

Adding a spoiler or "wing" really does not do anything for a street car. It is all for looks, You cant go fast enough (under most LEGAL circumstances) for it to be effective. But when you install a spoiler on a track or race car, you are actually able to adjust the amount of downforce on the rear of that car and it definately helps with handling. It will also allow you to go much faster in straights because the car will be much more stable. Race car wings are usually adjustable and sometimes they have a front lip wing on them too, so you can tune the downforce of the front, not just the rear! Hope this helps.

Adding a spoiler increases the downforce on the car. This means at higher speeds you car gains more contact to the road which increases the stability and the control. spoilers will increase the wind resistance of a car and lower the top speed and fuel efficiency.

A rear wing on a stock car is for looks only but if you usually go more than 160mph, a spoiler isn't doping that much for your car. Trust me, it helps with your handling(downforce etc) when driving REALLY fast. it could hurt your car's performance if you get the huge aluminum racing spoilers. If you want one get an oem spoiler. Hope this helps

It's will improve the road holding for the vehicle, thus more stable at fast speed.
If you go too fast without a rear spoiler the rear of your car will have a tendency to raise up. The spoiler increases the down force on the back of your car to keep it stabilized.

I would think that they don't do anything of any value. You aren't driving that fast to make a difference. I suppose if you did some lab work or wind tunnel work, you would find some kind of difference in the performance, but I think it would be more theoretical than actual difference.
It mainly for show, unless you are really flying down the road.

If you could buy a book that could foretell the future thousands of years in advance, if you could buy the most popular book ever written, if you could buy a copy of the first book ever written, if you could buy a book that told you how to farm, how to have faith, how to live and not die, how to love and not hate, how to be healed and not be lame, wouldn't that not only be a book worth buying, but worth reading, studying and learning? You could also think of it as a picture album of the Son of God. The thing is if I showed you a picture album of my son and you were disinterested, I would stop showing you the pictures. That is the same way with the Word of God. If you are not interested, God will not show you the pictures of His son. Just getting through The Book to say you read it, will not impress Him. It will not please Him. Looking for His Son will please Him. And He will show you His Son.

lol.....look if the car is FWD (front wheel drive it wont do a damn thing) if the car is RWD (rear wheel drive) it works because it makes the car more stable at higher speeds and holds the car down (down force) instead of it starting to lift up. it doesnt make it faster and it wont save u gas. hope i helped.
