Im looking for a campsite in either upstate CT, MA, or NY (not too far from CT) that has the following:
-secluded seperate campsites
-ability to have a fire
-on a lake, meaning the campsite itself borders the actual lake.
-outhouse or bathrooms nearby
-ability to bring a canoe
Please dont just give me a list of places you got from a google search, I can do that myself. Im looking for answers from people who have actually BEEN to these places and know for sure that it has the things Ive mentioned. Thanks in advance!

Macedonia Brook state park in CT,
Beartown state forest in MA
Upper Goose Pond in Ma
Savoy cabins in Ma
Tully Lake in central Ma

Farnstock State Park in NYS is about 10-15 miles from CT. There are several lakes and some are quite secluded; one site I used many years ago seems to match your needs.

hi, i'm from connecticut and i've heard from a lot of people who've gone camping that they love strawberry park in preston, ct. i personally have never been there. so i've never heard anything more than that it's fun. but if you google it i'm sure you can find out more info. there's also a beach called hammonasset in madison, ct. there's a designated camping site there. again, don't know anything more than that. i've only been there to go to the beach - which is beautiful.
