George Orwell couldn't have put it any better.

For those of you who are nostalgic for a classic Bush lie, I can do no better than his speech on the eve of the Iraq war.

"Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised. "

Yep -- you got it.

But I find the concept of "emboldening the enemy" to be laughable -- we're talking about fanatic terrorists who seek to destroy a billion people because those billion people stand in their way of converting the other 4 billion.....

How can ANYTHING we do make them more bold than they already are?

The insurgency in Iraq was made up of pillows and NERF bullets until you said something. Then, the newly emboldened enemy decided to play rough.

It's absurd, really. The only way they have any teeth in that worthless argument is to attack the messenger as unpatriotic: page 1A of the Republican playbook.

Poor Bush ,if only he had the power of Joseph Stalin he could really silence his critics until then he has to lie and deceive.

And bypass5x repeats the same lies., so it is effective

I don't know whats worse, that Bush's spin doctors actually spew these so-called legitimate "reasons" onto the public in an effort to curb the fact the people are responding and taking action in reaction to Bush's lying...

...or the fact that there are some people out there so blind and simple-minded that they actually suck this spew in and believe it!!!

HOW DID BUSH LIE?

CONGRESS GOT THE SAME INTELLIGENCE AS PRESIDENT BUSH AND THEY VOTED TO GO IN TO IRAQ, INCLUDING HILLARY CLINTON.

THE UNITED NATIONS VOTED TO GO IN TO IRAQ TOO.

BECAUSE SADAM HUSSIEN HAD BROKEN 17 RESOLUTIONS....HE WAS WARNED REPEATEDLY THAT WE WERE GOING TO COME IN.

SO,BUSH HAS KEPT THE ENEMY FROM ANOTHER 9-11.

THE AMOUNT OF OUR TROOPS THAT HAVE BEEN KILLED HAVE BEEN VERY LOW COMPARED TO PREVIOUS WARS. THEY ARE VERY VALUED BUT THERE IS A PRICE TO PAY FOR YOUR FREEDOM AND THEY HAVE BEEN WILLING TO PAY IT.

IF YOU WANT TO MEET A LIAR, THEN MEET BILL AND HILLARY CLINTON. HE DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH THAT WOMAN.....REMEMBER.??? AS FAR AS HILLARY GOES SHE REMOVED ARTICLES FROM THE WHITE HOUSE CLAIMING THEY WERE GIFTS...EXCUSE ME!!

SHE DID BRING SOME BACK...WHOOPIE SCHOOPIE!!!

Invest in a dictionary. Bush never lied unless you want to say that everybody in the world outside of Saddam's inner circle knew hew was temporarily deficient in WMD's.

No -

You're emboldening the enemy when:
you ask for specific withdrawal dates
when you ask for reduction in forces
when you ask for information regarding US tactics
when you ask for information which intentionally denigrates our troops
when you ask for investigations everytime a GI wipes his/her *ss
when you ask for investigations of terrorist prisoners wearing underwear and give a pass to those who behead our allies
when you support those who would rather see george bush loss that see millions of iraqi supporters live in freedom

get it mo!!!!

I do admit that he was wrong when he started declaring victory after Saddam fell but that was more like "Wishful Thinking". And Saddam had used Chemical weapons before so it was completely justified to go in there and save innocent lives.
